Hi everyone! Check out this post about The differences between the Democratic Party and the Republican Party on Reddit. It has some major bills, and how they were voted on in the senate. Go ahead, and look through it, and try to find out which party you find yourself agreeing with in terms of these bills. 

So are you a republican or democrat according to this?

It seems to me that America is coming to a point. The Republicans want a world ran by corporations. They believe in a meritocracy where you can achieve as much success as you like, regardless if it stops others from having success.

The democrats are basically socialists. They want socialist systems while still keeping parts of capitalism. Regulated capitalism. This school of thought, in my opinion, believes that the Human organism as a whole must take care of itself, as opposed to the Republican mindset-- where the individual organisms are in a fight of survival of the fittest.

So which way is America going to go? Will we evolve ourselves as a society, and national organism into a regulated socialist utopia, or serve our corporate overlords well into the future? Caldari style anyone?

It's funny, I love the ideas of the democratic party. If we legalize weed, tax it, reduce our defense budget, make our government more transparent, reduce the rights of corporations in government, and kill lobbying, we will have ourselves a pretty awesome nation! I mean, America is huge, we have so much room to expand, we have so many resources, we have great technology. It's an exciting future!

Yet I find myself, a logical Human being, living the game of the Republican party. We live in a world of competition. It really is survive or drown. In the game of capitalism, we must accumulate so that we can invest further. In this world, being.. what's the word.... charitable.. is a weakness.

So what do you guys think? Republican or Democrat?

For future references, I wouldn't group all republicans into a box, then make assumptions about some singular agenda of said box.
