Hi,
So as a web developer I love looking at data, and I've worked with several different data programs, but none have really answered the questions I have, and I think data can be presented and visualized in new ways that we haven't seen yet which will allow us to more efficiently observer and understand a set of data.
Here I have a graph which was designed with the objective being to show long, mid, and short term traffic in a single glance.
In order to show growth or loss between the time periods, we will have to divide the max number by 12 for months, and then again by 30 for days. So, in the example we see 5000 visits per year is the "max" in this graph. When we hit January of 2014, in order to keep the line straight (relatively) while also showing growth or loss for that month, we will divide that max visits by 12, and so the 5000 becomes 417, and then again when we get to daily we divide that number by 30, so 417 becomes 14 max visits per day.
In this way we have a very easy to read and understand graph which easily shows growth and loss patterns, and educates the viewer on long, mid, and short term traffic.
Will be building one soon! Do you guys like it?

Let's hope we are talking about your daughter and not some polluted prank of claiming to killing a child and some idiot show of looking for "validation" for something quite so retarded...hmmm?
Low pitched evil laughter
Take your pick.

Yeah, I built one of these way back. It is a great exercise in mathematics, and it really helps one understand the market out there.
However, in terms of your corporate strategy, you are probably better off to focus on things that are not already available to clients. In other words, your clients will never take interest in web statistics.
They are most interested in sales, conversions, and new client leads and referrals.
I can say, that if you monitor the right growth statistics, then you will save yourself a beating from older more professional people who will attempt to undermine your products and contribution to overall growth. So, put statistics where they count, but be careful when you do, because then you may be overstepping your bounds into territories which are not exactly your specialization or area of concern in some business arrangements.
Hope that helps.
