otherwise you aren't doing a successful administration of the forum by contradicting your self by allowing the thing you said you would remove to continue to exist and that my friend is logic..

 Any information exposed prior to my job as admin is Luna's business. I was not admin back then, so if you have an issue with that, then take it up with Luna.

Anyway, I am pretty sure all of those selfies and info were available to the public prior to being 'exposed' on that thread.

Anyone can obtain your IP too and track it down. Should they expose you simply because it's obtainable?

Cain showed us the other day on skype that even with VPN he can get your real IP and do a trace on you.

How did Cain say to do it?

Not that I ever blacklisted anyone. But TheLeviathan was blacklisted in my list. I noticed that when changing my avatar. I guess the IP ban puts a ban on the most regularly used account for whatever you did TK.

EDIT: That or I blacklisted him myself for accident.

The mute button will tell the server to take a look at the IP address of the account. It will then look up all IP's in the past that account has used, and then it will disallow all of those IP's from re-registering without approval-- currently which only I can give, but I will make a function for it later.

So for example, if Spatial Mind was muted, every single IP he's ever logged into his Spacial Mind account would be disallowed from re-registering an account. 

About this topic, I'm not sure 100% about the idea of banning Doxers. This place is kinda meant to be a scary place where people should feel like they need to be careful on. On the other hand, I would certainly delete any personal information found about me if it were ever posted, so I don't disagree with this decision. I don't know how I feel about it, but Thrill seems to be doing a good job, so I will have faith in this decision, and see where it goes

You realize this doesn't matter correct? If someone wants to out someone, they just make a puppet. Then what will you do? 

 

Nothing. Mute the puppet, i'm assuming is all.

If anyone on this forum posts personal info relating to someone's full name, phone number or address without their specific permission, you will be automatically muted without warning.

Ramirez has been muted for doing that exact thing. Let him be an example to any one of you stupid enough to try that shit again. I'm not fucking around.

 Ramirez was a cool guy and a good addition to the forum. He was well liked and I'm not the only one who wants him back. Luna should unmute him. If you want to delete personal info posted about someone on the forum, then fine, but banning the exposers is too much.

Personally, I think if people are foolish enough to share pictures and/or other personal info than more fool them if it gets exposed. Of course, that doesn't mean that the person exposing it should be allowed to do so.

Anything that is already exposed publicly on other sites, like Facebook for example and any public information connected to it, does not concern me, because it is already public information.

Ramirez shared personal information about me that I had not shared with him, nor requested be shared publicly. That is a violation of my right to privacy. Therefore, he was muted.

 You're a moron TK. You fucked up and now you're trying to cover up your ass. I received the personal info of you in private chat, with google maps and all, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. It's as good as public now. You can't censore and delete shit that's already out, and showing that you care and, worst of all, confirming the info is valid, is extremely dumb.

You come here acting all badass and immoral, call the smarter people who are cautious paranoid, then turn into a cry baby when your stupidity turns against you. Protecting your IP like some of us do and not skype whoring around with everyone would have been common sense if you had cared about your anonymity. You can't expose your ass in an environment like this and then shout "immoral" when someone has their way with you. You have been here for long enough to know better.

Where did all this come from? I have never posted personal info about dex or anyone else in public. Most I've done was bump a thread where someone else exposed Josh (selfies thread). I did show Meta and TK personal info on someone here, but that was in private.
