This is an interesting post about an autistic stripper. This hints towards interesting stuff. I'll add my input later.

"Stripping and autism doesn't go together, and I had the job for 2 weeks so I think I know more about the industry than say most people. The first week I made a little over $300 for 3 days of work (I bank on the fact that I was new and beautiful). I was so proud of myself, and I was so happy, and I truly felt like I found something good. The second week, I made absolutely 0, and I decided to quit right then and there when I couldn't get one private dance on a Friday night. The pay isn't steady, and that freaks me out because I am coming from so far. It's 50 miles away, and I am going on a bus, so I want to make at least $30 or something, but nothing... for 3 days in a row was too much. If I live in the area, it would be okay though.
I had to be semi-homeless just to work there because of the commute was so awful.

I was rejected by more guys I want to count, and they were disgusting, fat, or just plain out ugly, and the rejections add up which felt like daggers to my self-esteem after it hits 11 p.m. I know I am not ugly... it's just my personality isn't good for this career. I thought I had it though, and I tried to make small talk but whatever I said sounded generic or fake.... like scripted lines... I don't engage in drugs, drink, or party either. All the guys want extras, and I'm not going to do that either."

Yeah, I go to the strippers every now and then... really thought it is more for the novelty or the oddity. I enjoy watching the girls dance, and that's about it. I never get dances, and yeah it isn't an erotic experience. Difficult to believe but it is really an entertainment thing.

It's probably the same people going to the strip club in their area, time and time again, sort of an addiction, and they probably try out the new girls the second they arrive, and then move on to the next new girl.

Turnovers at those places are high. In the suburbs, I can't imagine too many lasting more than a couple years.

When I was in the city, and lived right across the street from one there were new girls there constantly. Non stop. Extremely high turnover.

Your best bet with something along those lines is to find an establishment where it is in the heart of the city or perhaps near an airport. Where-ever business men or women are likely to gather and make a last minute detour for some VIP service, just for fun... only guessing...

If it helps, during the recession, I noticed tons of adult clubs closing up shop, and it's only recently that they've started opening back up, if you ask me.

Anyways, why don't you go for the wait staff service? I am sure they make mad cash compared to normal everyday servers.

It's money, that stuff is expensive, and the managers they probably don't make a whole lot off of dances. Their business is selling alcohol. 20.00 - 30.00 for 4 minutes? What is the price of beer? Everyone is drinking beer...

So... finding an establishment where a business owner is paying out what they could is probably something else all-together.

Genuinely, they are not in the business of adult dancing. They are in the business of selling alcohol.

They will keep a kitchen, an entire kitchen running the whole night to try and sell food that nobody ever buys. Right?

Anyways, I normally reject the girls offers right away, but last year I remember this one girl who was talking to me and we were having a normal conversation, more than once throughout the evening, and the manager steps up and tells her not to talk to me. Which is bizarre, because girls talk with the guys all the time.

They are in the business of selling alcohol. Not educating clientele and clients.

Well, most of them are in the business of selling alcohol. How do those strip clubs that are basically nothing more than renovated hotels work? They are very common. I can't imagine the strip club acting as a bawdy house, but rather they do that to incite the imaginations of clients.
