When I was your age, nobody fukin cared about the internet... we all went out and partied...

 I can certainly relate to that. Back then I didn't know what the internet even was.

We used to go out camping and partying on the weekends, and that's if we didn't go clubbing instead.

Friday nights we'd all cruise on down to the local hang out spot in our hotted up cars and organize 'fox hunts' or illegal street races.

It was a lot of fun back then. I miss those days.

No, I meant serious as in actually believe they're goth, and kitsch as in seeing it as lame with a corny charm. Every once in a while there will be "actual" goths in there thrown off by fake gawths wearing their colors.

The glares are priceless.

There's still some of that, but it's far more kitsch than serious these days.

"I enjoyed the dark club scene where people thought they were goth because they were goth, but so long as it wasn't high society goth elitist."

The goth scene itself was supposed to be about being counter-culture, but just like what happened to Hippy fashion it was adopted by the fashion industry and made into something more blatantly corporate. For someone to uphold goth ideals these days they'd need to dress against their own dress code.

Some try to excuse it by saying it wasn't bought from Hot Topic, but goths in the past used to actually know a little bit of tailoring instead of "other stores". It's pretty much as dead as disco.

Bread was a penny a pint.

God was a lad.

Nobody knew what getting high was other than climbing a mountain.

The web was something made by spiders.
