It's seen as both "deviant" and as either an escape from the monotony of their current situation or as a "partner in crime", is my guess. They are usually seen as more daring and more willing to take risks which makes them seem to have the initiative, a go-getter attitude, and traits that compliment charisma quite well.

Other than that, the media makes them out nowadays to be like celebrities. When people think of "criminals" in a positive light, how often do they think about ugly ones?

 Some people find criminals sexy because they're willing to do the things that many other people only dream of doing.

Danger is exciting to some people. Being risk takers and law breakers, some criminals are the very epitome of danger.

That's one weird fetish lol

I don't mind either bikers or businessmen. I can adapt to either lifestyle. Though, I do prefer bikers more because they are generally more wild and willing to take more dangerous risks with me.
