Sociopath Community

I based my whole opinion of Reaper off of her ego and the way she worded some of her post's. After reading this I feel bad for pushing the issue. I was convinced that no one with this disorder would do such a thing. I think I owe her a apology now. 

Every time I read up on something I get this know it all attitude. Lol

Sociopaths is an extremely broad definition.

From all i've seen, its just a label on people who have a lack of concern for others.

Everything else varies. There is a diagnostic criteria, but it can get so vague and unreliable that its different in many places. Clearly the people who made this label have no clue what they are talking about. Or they would settle on a definition.

If you use the term AsPD, thats a whole new thing to talk about.

Those are people who do crime and are fully aware at the damage they cause to others, but do not regret it and/or care. Why they dont care, could lead to another disorder, but why would the prison doctors care? Easier to label AsPD.

I don't think it's necessarily common. Many can be narcissistic in nature and don't have a problem with stroking their ego in a grandiose fashion, but to brag constantly would hinder appealing to certain people they may need to be in good favor with. Sometimes playing humble gets you places. Self-assured, unrealistic plans, and failure to see why others oppose them all isn't that far off though.

      I'm not entirely sure that's true. They know by societies standards whether or not they're doing something wrong, they just don't care as long as it doesn't negatively affect them.

Reaper is a tool that tries to constantly verify her psychopathy by making comments about it, even in situations that don't warrant that kind of response. Also, making test threads and "analyze other forum members" threads is her way of trying to to have others comment on and confirm her diagnoses in a "less direct" fashion.

My point is, the original post you made was talking about the SPs ego and how self absorbed they can really tend to be. Reapers is just reiterating the same thing we've all heard a million times from her in the same usual way she goes about it. She's not stroking her ego as much as she is her 'diagnoses', hah, which has always struck me as a bit odd.

Of course she'll come in this thread at some point and comment along the lines of "I'm not looking for confirmation" or "no I don't do this that and the other thing", and I will nod, smile, ignore, and maybe poke fun as I usually do.

Again, bullshit. Nobody has to mention my name in those threads. I don't even encourage them to. My own results on tests don't prove anything. Who is to say they're even accurate.

Anything anybody says here wouldn't confirm mine or anybody else's diagnosis. They are not qualified to do so.

It's funny that all of this is coming from you, someone who calls himself The Socio, because he wants everyone to think he's a sociopath. If that isn't seeking validation, then I don't know what is.
