Spam is undesirable by most, or/and has no purpose, but most importantly, its a lot and/or constant.
But you can just stretch the definition and make anything you want spam, unless there are very rigid rules, or you are not an emotional pulp.

She even said early on that he was banned from his defiance, for challenging her, only later using "spam" as her shield-phrase to try to get us off her back. She did one of those "Say that one more time" threats, and he said it, specifically, one more time.
The "spam" we have in chat nowadays is more than ten times that of what he did, and even back then there were people far more guilty of it than he was.

While you were away Meta and I were arguing over stuff like free speech and hate speech, with Meta saying hate speech should be allowed to run rampant and not be intervened against. He compared his spam in TK's face with hate speech for some reason and used my disapproval of his ban to say that based on it, I should disapprove of all hate speech censoring. I clarified that my reasons for being against his ban and supporting hate speech censorship are entirely different. I also disapproved of him spamming, I thought it was childish and dumb tbh.
