I watched Lars Van Trier's Nymphomaniac, Vol. 1. It was.... ok. Not exciting, but an interesting portrait nonetheless. Started watching Vol. 2, but fell asleep before I could finish it. Seems a touch more promising.

Went to the cinema, I don't know what kind of set up you have at home, but it is a good film to watch really loud. Gyllenhaal made another cool movie last year, it is based on a book by an Portuguese author (his books are ard to read), but this is another good one if you like Jake, he has 2 parts in it.

The commercials did draw me in (mostly because it has a Gyllenhaal in it), but it looks like the sort of film worth waiting to come out on disc for.

Which was the last movie you guys saw that you really liked.

For me it was "The Rover".

Falling Down.

I liked Nymphomaniac too. Vol. 2 delves a lot deeper into the darker parts. 

I really liked Gone Girl. It had an interesting twist to it and a fascinating character.
