How many of you date and still look around so you can "find something better." How often do you "find something better"?

I imagine this is common with a lot of people and PDs.

I'm sure with some people it is finding a new situation which makes something better. Not the object or whatever, but rather the twisted set of circumstances.

I don't. If you are fortunate enough to to find someone who truly gives a damn about you as you do them, you are doing better than most.

Why settle for less in the first place.

It's not always for something better, sometimes it's for something new or something different.

They aren't always seeking an improvement so much as a change.

I mean, if your partner doesn't do something right, you can change them into someone who does do it right.

Not necessarily. If they choose not to, you are screwed as are they. Compromise is not a 4 letter word, but for some it is a loss. Suppose it is a question of of balance as defined by the constructs that are considered a relationship by the parties involved  be it the traditional bonding of 1 on 1 male/ female or other.

well it is a long sad story and i think the details will bore you but my only real relationship was with mary palm, as jody palm was rather finicky and could never pull up on the job quite the same as mary so now it is just mary and i driving along same as always

To be honest that sort of thing is below my standards, but at the same time, I don't understand it. In some cases sure, but why go through all the mess of switching if you can just make it better? I mean, if your partner doesn't do something right, you can change them into someone who does do it right. As far as wanting something new, same thing applies. I don't see the appeal in spreading the love.

I myself personally don't give a fuck about relationships or people in general.

I had a boyfriend once, it didn't work out too well.....
