So we still need a ToS. If it's not written in a legal fashion we're stuck with rules.

FIGHT CLUB RULES

1- The first rule of Fightclub is, you do not talk about Fightclub.

2- The second rule of Fightclub is, You DO NOT talk about FIGHT CLUB. (That was obligatory, but facetious. :D)

3- The third rule of Fightclub is that you have to be 18+ in order to brawl here.

4- The fourth rule of Fightclub is that in verbal sparring matches, anything goes. A person shall not be banned, or have their posts deleted or moderated for:
a) Obscene language
b) Explicit sexual references and innuendos
c) Expressing an ill opinion of another Fightclub member, or in any way disparaging them.
By agreeing to this stipulation, the member implicitly agrees that they are stepping into an environment where they will get cyber bullied. Your comments here constitute an expression of your legal consent to this.

5- The fifth rule of Fightclub is that no person is to post any child pornography of any sort. This type of material will be submitted to the authorities, you sick fuck.

6- The sixth rule of Fightclub is that any person who posts here consents to the risk of his real identity being exposed.

7- The seventh and most gentlemanly rule of Fightclub is that ANY SUCH EXPOSURES REMAIN PRIVATE. By this, we refer specifically to clear violations of a person’s identity- be it professional or personal. No facebook pestering, Google+ spamming, etc.

Riiiight. So even though we suggested this months ago, and it would have taken you less than two minutes to grab a ToS and slap it up to protect your ass legally, you didn't, because "you were waiting for version 2.0 to be ready?" So not only did your timeline projection fail; you also placed yourself and your business at risk during the critical start-up period. Very smooth.~

right, my timeline projection failed because this website is just a hobby to me, and when my clients demand my time, they must get precedence. 

luckily, we have just come to the realization that we are recently ahead of schedule in some things, and we will be able to work on SC 2.0 within the next couple weeks. so yeah, exciting times.

 I don't like this. The right not to be bothered? Attempt not to bypass a mute? wtf, lmao? Agree not to violate the security of other members? Isn't that an agreement not to out people?

The problem is Luna doesn't want what we want, and from her perspective I think most of us even understand why. And Because she pays for the site, and we like it here, we even accept it. None of us can be fucked with taking on our own forum ventures even though there's plenty of us capable. 

this quote mostly is what prompted me. of course i dont want you guys to feel that i dont want what you want. honestly i don't "want" anything from this place besides for it to grow. by adding a TOS, and removing the restriction from DOXING, i am simply doing as what is request of me. 

 it was a lot of reasons. i think we should be clear what action is being taken.

in the past there were two rules. no spamming, and no DOXING. no doxing came about, and i didn't care much about it, so for legal reasons, i allowed the posts to be removed. that made drama, and this thread came up where limey said the above quote

i never had a TOS because i had always intended to get SC 2.0 working more quickly, this was only temporary. it still could be months tho because resources are tight ,and our current client is demanding of our time. by adding this TOS, we can go back to allowing people to DOX eachother, the members iwll be happier, membership will grow, and nothing will change for me.

You can't appeal to a bunch of idiots with fairness.

Just put up something that says. Look if you do something stupid and the police contact me, you can expect that I am co-operating in the full extent of the law because this website does not want to go up against people with serious money.

So don't do anything stupid and if we catch you doing anything stupid, you're banned.
