I have the same issue. Everyone thinks I'm a narcissist, but I'm not. I'm just very self-absorbed and somewhat grandiose in the way I present myself online. I do believe I am the most important person alive, but that's only because it's my life and I value my life over everybody else's.

I'm the same way in real life. I'm confident in what I'm confident in. I feel most people are just stupid, and want you to consider what they have to say, no matter how dumb, for the sake of not appearing arrogant. I see it as pointless, and showing them that not everyone cares will help them grow.

Getting things from others too often hurts my ability to get other things from them that may be more important. I prefer to keep people feeling like they owe me if I can help it. Better social leverage.

Hard enough to find good work these days to risk that sort of thing.

Too paranoid to let myself amass more than college debts.

Just because they're to blame doesn't make it a fault of mine. 
...that being said, I tend to blame myself when products of my influence don't go as I planned. It's not like they could have seen what was going to happen in advance, while I should be capable of that. It ends up becoming a matter of personal failure.

The problems are typically from them. Only complaint I tend to get is around the nature of being referred to as "detached".

Only related to fear really (and that's much more manageable than it once was). Anger's rare but disorienting.

That being said, the guidelines given are proper for identifying if they are or not, but it doesn't mean that they will only be that way, especially for a term that's somewhat loosely defined right now.

I am living off the government plus a pension. I had many jobs when I worked. It was difficult getting along with bosses. They were so full of it. So it was their fault, not mine. I'm glad I'm out of the rat race. Social Security has survived Congress. Halalujah! I am free but not really up for much because of my age. I get bored. I used to have a more exciting lifestyle when I was younger. I have one long-term lover, an empath. We get along and I get my needs met. Do I glorify Sociopathy/Psychopathy? I would say I do. I have feedom and autonomy that most people lack and that makes me feel superior. Sorry, Thrill Kill, that you think that is bullshit.
