I have been taking meds for about 18 months. I switched to new one 8 months ago. It helped me stay calm but makes me really tired.

I'm mid-20's. It's medicine for anxiety. I used to work out to help manage it but then I had a bad accident and couldn't. That's when it got quite hard to live with.

TC, doc said body has to get used to the right amount of chemicals and then it will hold it there -- doc may be a quack. I really don;t know. I notice she likes pills.

Eighteen months is more than enough time to establish a dependency on any anxiolytic. I would strongly advise against going cold turkey, particularly as (I'm obviously speculating here) your symptoms sound as though you were prescribed something like Seroquel or Olanzapine. If you have indeed been taking Seroquel and/or Olanzapine and you quit cold turkey you may experience psychotic symptoms even if you weren't psychotic to begin with (Seroque and Olanzapine are anti-psychotics but Seroquel is sometimes prescribed for anxiety by doctors who're paranoid about benzos and Olanzapine is sometimes prescribed if your doc thinks you have BPD and may be experiencing psychotic episodes).

Do you mind telling us what you were prescribed, and what symptoms you've experienced since you ceased the medication?

I saw the tracks of angels in the earth
The beauty of heaven walking by itself on the world
Joke or sorrow now, it seems a dream
Shadow or smoke.

I saw a kind of rain that made the sun ashamed.
And heard her, speaking sad words, make mountains
Shift, rivers stop.

….

A safe thing to consider is skipping the 80.00 health shakes, and going straight for the baby formula.

It isn't much, but it's a great multi-vitamin.

Other than that it's impossible to know without understanding what your meds were previously, or what your condition is now. Anxiety can mean so many different things.

Is your anxiety a panic attack thing?

Were you on tranquilizers anti-psychotics, or more along the lines of an ssri? Or something insane like a parnate?

Do you have a history of any other ailments? Are you sick all the time? I'd say you are too young to fuck around with the metheleyne blue and it's hard to dose properly, but that's an option, especially if you're a grimey. :)

Hi Miss, if you don't feel comfortable revealing this to your doctor maybe you should switch doctors, see somebody who understands your concerns and can work with you to help you feel better, medication is necessary sometimes but there are natural ways of healing too :)

I'm no doc, but I agree you should talk to one about this. Maybe there's an easier way to get off the drug, like taking some milder form/substitute for a while then quitting that one too.

haha no dr delta. I think i am itchy cuz my body is reacting and nerve endings are touchy.

and, to answer your earlier question my anxiety was not the panic attack kind - it was more general and chronic. Nervous, worry, jumpy, guilty, performance induced lotsa insomnia - that kinda stuff.
