Silkthread, please explain to me how wanting my children to be perfect makes me have inferior genetics? I want to hear the science behind that theory. And if you can’t explain that, should I not give a shit and let them do what they want when they want? I would love to hear your thoughts on the matter.

It's simple. If you have to "want" your children to be perfect, you already suspect that your genetics will not produce superior results.

Tom has point, to an extent. I might have something to do with his idea of a perfect child. A perfect child for me would be one that listens to commands, doesn’t backtalk, and responds with “please” and “thank you”.
