Freedom. Being able to do what I want has always been important to me.

Would you say, then, that freedom is still a goal for you at this stage?
I know there's no absolute freedom anywhere. I like my freedom to be enough for me to not feel bothered by the lackthereof. As I said, to be able to do what I want. It's a very subjective definition, and it depends on the wants themselves. I don't want to be the president of the United States for example, so not being able to become that doesn't bother me. But having my health affected in some way would feel like a loss of freedom, since I'd want to do some things and wouldn't be able to.
That said people are more free than they think. I feel a lot of them waste their freedom and fail to explore its benefits. Better said, it's like they are their own freedom-takers, or the guardians of their own cells. They fail to go for what they want, even if they have the freedom to do so. But that's another thing. Freedom can be scary sometimes. Sometimes it's easier to do what you have to do, and what you're being told, instead of what you really want and could achieve on your own.
