by XenaNah. It's only misogynistic if the lady hates the horny penis creature in question. ;)
Screw me if i understand. "Horny penis creature" = sexually aroused male person, correct? Where does hatred and misogyny enter the picture? Hatred of a male person without a specific reason would rather imply misandry, no?
If you "hate" someone (of any gender) ab ovo, then their "horniness" and sexual organs would be the least characteristics to play into that hatred, as even noticing those functions would imply a level of closeness which would preclude hatred (unless we talk about incest / rape). Unless, of course, if you regard men as sexual objects / potential sexual/romantic interests. Which i don't (other than my actual sexual/romantic interest, that is) - that's perhaps why i get along better with men than with women, and never experienced any act or intent of misogyny in person. I regard them as "people" and they regard me likewise. Whereas other women tend to regard me more with suspicion and animosity, as a 'threat' or something to their ego. ('Women' as a sweeping generalisation of course - most of my closest friends are female, perhaps not the gender-stereotypical kind.)
In short, does a person's gender and state of arousal ("horny penis creature") have anything to do with their general likeability? If so, isn't that sexism?
Or you mean it's unrequited sexual attention from a male what's misogynistic?
What's your take on unrequited romantic/sexual attention from females ("hormonal vagina creatures") towards males, then? It's at least as common as the other way around (and perhaps more vocal, going by all those broken heart forums).
