A brief look at Thomas Sheridan

Can't really be found on any official sites, Sheridan simply stepped in from nowhere as an expert on psychopaths.

These are some of his claims. More can be found on his sites and endless interviews and lectures on Youtube.

  • Fight or Flight Response
(poor stress tolerance—can't debate—insults and lashes out)
  • Camera Persona(s)
(sneers, poses or smirks or 'looks away' when being photographed)
  • Eyes Sometimes Dead and Lifeless
(coupled with a hypnotic stare—eyes can also dart around from left to right when scheming) Very often a disturbing intense predatory stare when challenged or refused a request.
  • Needing, at Most, 4—5 Hours of Sleep at Night
(sleeping aids, prescriptions and alcohol used to extend their sleeping periods or to avoid boredom)
  • Does not Dream, or Fabricates Unrealistic Dream Stories
(reduced complex cognitive processes in and around the frontal areas of the brain)
  • Constantly Looking and Acting Busy for no Apparent Reason
(moving around, traveling here and there for no apparent reason—busy, busy, busy)
  • Word Salad
(overly complex speech and writing in order to look clever—often makes no sense—contradictory from one sentence to the next)

So what do you say?

It's all bullshit; It's another excuse for someone to get some airtime on the internet.

Psychopaths know how to blend into society.

Some funny things though. Claims that:

Psychopaths hide in plain sight and are very fearful of being found out.

Have a past they do not really talk about.

Have short random interests.

Prone to snapping with aggression.

Make themselves out to be more than what they are.

Uncreative.

Now look ar Sheridan.

Like I have said before, best way of hiding is claiming to out psychopaths.

What past? No schooling, doesn't talk about where he comes from, what contexts he has been in. He suddenly just plain arrived from nothing. Some people claim he is an ex Internet troll.

Does indeed have short lived interests at least if what he presents on Youtube represents him.

He had a live chat once, it started well but when he got the wrong questions he snapped and became hostile.

He isn't a psychologist, has no sources, still acts like he is on the same level as Hare and his gang. Sure he is everywhere, but it is self promoted.

From what I heard his books go with the flow and rarely presents new ideas. A lot of his stuff comes from Hare.

And these are just a few things. There are more matches like these. Makes me wonder who the hell he am and what the hell he is doing.

He claims not met many psychopaths in life, still acts like a victim, so I plain asked him where this interest in psychopaths came from. Still waiting for any form of reply... ;)

Oh... and he accuses psychopaths of smirking and being smug. In one of his lectures he tells a lie... because he wants to "prove" the power of suggestion. After he said it was bogus he finally smiles, otherwise he is a very straight face person. I'm not sure if that smile was really real... looked kind of.. like smirking. ;)

Oh, yea. Dude needs a face. Here it is:

I'm not a psychopath so it would be cool if a real psychopath would out him as one as he tries to out others as being psychopaths. ;)

I still can't get over him saying they are more reptiles for using their reptilian brain. And they are not human or a sort of different species type human.

Random reptile pic, my favorite morph (amel) of corn snake.

He's awake, with an opinion. When it comes to what he's doing, simply telling people isn't enough, so he's passionate about it.

Education is good, but it isn't always required to learn and teach, unless the person is a complete idiot.

Not everything he says is false, and in my opinion, Thomas Sheridan is a pretty good introductory for those who've taken an interest and plans to look further into this stuff.

So, what studies does he use to back up these claims?

Education is good, but it isn't always required to learn and teach

That's great because I watched a documentary on the solar system recently and am now considering giving lectures on the subject. Glad to hear I will be taken seriously ~

That's the thing. He is not fond of sources. That is one of the things that make me wonder about him.
