"You're the first to agree with him."

What has you thinking that?

Tell me, have any of you ever wondered what the difference is between Humans, and other DNA based life? We obviously, physically, come from the same tree... yet this consciousness that we feel doesn't seem to apply to other life. Why is that?

The answer is that we Humans have the ability to perceive time. The rest of the Animals, they must live in the moment. They rely on emotions, socializing, and finding food as it comes day by day. They are unable to become "enlightened" in such a way as to realize the future is coming. They cannot anticipate it. For this reason, they live in the moment as animals.

But Buddhists  say to find enlightenment, we must learn to be in the present. Did you know that you can conquer pain by putting your consciousness totally in present time? Furthermore, I don't think people are superior to animals. We are the species which is destroying the earth. Then we'll all be screwed, animals and humans both. Humans subject animals to dreadful torture. Animals are a lot purer in intent. Our complexity makes us interesting but also very wrongheaded.

imagination...

also ww2, i don't mean you cant have fun. i mean to say that.. the human mind is stupid. it always wants more. you can't expect to live a life of euphoria no matter how hard you try. what's more likely, is a dull life that gets repetitive

i propose individuals dedicate their life to a certain path, and have fun while they are on that path.. make the best of the path your on instead of choosing not to have a path at all.

If I have to choose a path it will be the Socio-Path.

^ Armchair shrinking somebody and accusing them of projection is the worst type of projection.

Unpack Ed's arguments, prove that they're fallacious, and I might be persuaded to hear your side.

Armchair shrinking ? I don't know what that means. You did bring him up and I had something to say.

As for my projection. I fully approve of it, cause it's based on the truth.

The story with me and that guy is something I've told too many times.

^ This. xD

But I already paid that compliment to another strapping Swede and his sidekick on PF.

George and Gracie?

Ha only if Spatial is George. He has that grouchy guy look down already with his tone.

Edit: and now instead of Zumba classes we can say that Ed is taking ballroom dance lessons. This works out.

I find Ed and his harem an entertaining distraction. He's good with the quips without being an ass about it. Nothing more, nothing less.

Good god did he pay you for such flattery? The amount of compliments in this one passage contains his narc quota for the week.

Why encourage them.

I give her a little something, and this is what I get.
