Psychopathic Pacifists?

Has this been discussed?  Psychopathy isn't inherently characterized by wanton violence, but certainly the ability to without much repercussion on their conscience, right?  If a removal of emotionally charged evaluation were possible, couldn't it just seem to make more sense not to kill or harm, because then you can use the system without breaking it, and get by pretty much unaffected.  But you are still defined as psychopath based on other criteria...  Possible right?

Tangential wonderingness: is there any precedence to assume psychopaths can't have a sense of humor?  Everyone finds SOMETHING funny right?  Is that an emotion that could be ruled out, or simply transcends emotion or intellectual diversity?

Even those who are born with the curse have those aggressive tendencies for the rest of their lives, but almost always theres an incident in the early youth that teaches the little monster to hide his own bloodlust. I see no reason why a psychopath couldnt have a sense of humor. It will probably be really messed up but a sense of humor none the less.

That's right, and this is why researchers have been arguing against Hare's PCL-R Factor 2.
