Sounds exactly like I want it, well not the altitude sickness. I like to go by horseback. You didn't get to eat cuy? We eat horse where I come from so it is nothing weird about that.
It tastes like... meat. Depending on the cut I can't tell it apart from beef. It's tad sweeter, gamier and darker though. I'm not big on meat though, I more like processed meat and stews than a slab of meat. I eat more veg than meat. So I'm not a meat gourmet that notices fine differences. The most common meat products (and similar) I eat are unsmoked bacon, uneven pork cuts, liver, heart, blackpudding, different sausages and rabbit.
