can someone be pure evil?

by Spatial Mind

An example of what is morally good to one but bad to another would be too iffy.

What is considered evil, is consciously malicious. Doing to others what they themselves would be grieved by.

So a father kicking a son out of a house so he can fly is evil? It grieves him...

An assassin who kills a public figure who is causing harm to his people is evil? Thousands cheer, and thousands groan. Good and Evil.

Evil doesn't exist...

Now if you ask me... too much Good is pure evil. Townsfolks who raise the pitchforks and go on a witch hunt to track down evil, killing innocents in the process.

No, really...

It is a moral philosophical alignment.

I understand that may take a little more than swimming around in the dictionaries to understand... It must be fun to be entirely oblivious...

Technically it is probably not an ethical alignment as much as personal moral alignment, although it probably falls into both, but more-so a personal moral alignment. What is morally good with one, may be morally evil to another. We are speaking philosophically, and Evil is technically an alignment. You could be aligned to Good, or Bad, or Neutral, or the Law... this all comes from Dungeons and Dragons, which even though it is a game, it has done an excellent job categorizing and classifying what eludes all the edumicated.

What is considered evil, is consciously malicious. Doing to others what they themselves would be grieved by. This has nothing to do with minding your own business while the next guy is getting their ass kicked by your presence or whatever routine. The reason behind malicious activity is no accident, it is intentional.

Genocide is intentional, and it always done for the sake of personal gain. In many cases such crimes are passed off as us or them, but in truth the affairs between nation vs. nation are always between leaders and not the people.

Feel free to give an example of what one action is morally good and bad between two sides.

I mean it's not expected that you'd produce qualities that are geared toward prosperity. Or its unlikely.

Why is it unlikely?

It's easy to note by your personality. Plus you even said it yourself prior to what I've said, you don't have the drive to hold down a job because of this and that which has to do with you. You'll be pushing 50 soon by the way. You'll need to perform some new tricks from old teachings to make something of yourself, if ever.

I'm not going to try to convince you evil is real, but to follow through with malicious intentions and pass it off as nothing.... To be honest, I don't know how to tell you this in a way you'd understand. There is cause and effect, there is no value in living a deceptive lifestyle.

Just because I don't see anything as evil doesn't mean I'm not aware of cause and affect. I know how to discern between things that may affect me negatively or positively, and even though I don't care how my actions affect others, I'm aware that it's in my best interests to blend into society.

Yes we've all heard that one before. But again, I'm not trying to to convince you that evil is real, it's concepts and effects to you are real, but it's not real to you in general. You probably think evil is some kind of divine force which to you is fictional, while evil actually isn't. It's source spawn from consciousness in general.

In a world where only the strong survive, you'd be foolish to think you'll last very long.

I have instincts and a strong desire for self-preservation. You are restricted by morals, I'm not. I'm not restrained by guilt and remorse, you are. And you think I wouldn't last very long? I'm more likely to do certain things required to survive (that others may view as immoral) than you are.

Guilt shame and remorse are emotions that correct ones behavior and in return we find prosperity. Without "care" we wouldn't have advanced the way we did.

Morals maintain prosperity, and you're wrong about restrictions and what I'm capable of. Those with full emotion are the ones with the most blood on their hands by a landslide.

In a world where only the strong survive, it would only be a matter of time before the mightiest gets lynched.

The civilization where the strong and the weak are able to flourish WILL be the one to advance into a greater state of being, while the civilization where brutality is the way for all will shrink and be left in a stone age.

I AM one of the strong. I was born into a world of violence. Spent almost half my life living through it and I have had to literally fight to survive, so I find it quite offensive that you think I wouldn't last very long. I've lasted 41 years already. That's half a life time.

Surrounded by a world of stupid since you were a baby has made you a firm believer in it's ways has it, Thrill Kill.  With that in mind it's best that you stay inside all day and play on the computer.

You need to get off that pedestal you've placed yourself on and get back to reality. You're in no position to say who would or wouldn't last very long, especially when you have no idea what other people have already experienced in life.

Seriously, the world isn't entirely like that, and we choose what kind of people we surround ourselves with. The amount of people we come across is futile compared to how many people there are, and the majority makes the world as it is aren't all that vicious.

In any case, all attributes associated with evil are enough for you to know, but say if evil is real, then it's easy to see if no one believed it to be real would only give evil itself an advantage.

Bullshit. By believing in it, you're giving it life. You're giving actions more meaning than they really need. Society wants you to believe in evil because it's just another way to control those strings attached to your moral conscience.

A moral conscience is a constructive one. It also believes in order and discipline. Even execution when time comes.

Is there no such thing as a chaotic mind ? Yes. Are there no actions that goes beyond petty crime ? Of course.

In society, it's the most profound evil forces that dictate who or what is evil. Of course anyone with a brain would understand what it means to address someone as evil.

If you'd put any effort into discussing it's existence,  and you do, then wouldn't it be wiser to speculate it rather than argue how it isn't real at all ?

Why should I speculate on something that you can't even prove exists outside your own perception.

Answering a question with another question. Tell me, what is your definition of evil, cause I'm convinced it isn't the same as mine.

With or without morals, we wouldn't tend to reward or do business with those who would ruin us, or those who tried. To you malice is nothing, someone who thinks that would most likely be tactless and express bad manners. Even if your work ethic is poor, they wouldn't let you go as fast if you had them thinking higher of you.

Not true at all. Lacking morals doesn't mean I don't understand social etiquette or how to fake emotion, sympathy or empathy in order to blend in and/or gain people's trust. I know how society works and what is required to live and work in it comfortably.

Again.... With or without morals, we wouldn't tend to reward or do business with THOSE WHO WOULD RUIN US, OR THOSE WHO TRIED.

As for what you know, it's different than how you perform. Faking sympathy or empathy does absolutely nothing. Or even true empathy or sympathy does nothing.

MAKING A CHOICE IN GREATNESS

Many people today are ready to do anything and come against anyone in order to get what they want. They want to become great at any price, but in all this, there is something we must know: You can become great in life but the source of your greatness will be either God or satan.

There are two kinds of greatness:
1. Greatness born of God - is to derive your resources from God
2. Greatness born of satan - is to derive your resources from satan.
When God is the source of your strength, no one can be against you. I mean, you and God are majority. So Abram, in Genesis 14:15-end, with the help of God, was able to defeat his enemies and recover all the goods and set the captives free.
Now, considering the great number of plunders, what do you think made Abram to reject the goods? An ordinary man would see those plunders as a blessing. Abram knew what it takes to derive one's resources from God. Abram knew that to live the good life, you must drink at the good fountain. Many today spend their lives looking for blessing but it is not every blessing that will be of benefit to you. The blessing given by the world concerns only body and time, tension and pressure, sickness. I mean a blessing without peace of mind. The blessing God gives is for all good. I mean it enriches our soul for eternity.
