I've honestly never been supportive of such drastic measures until just recently. Kill 'em all! I mean, shit, they're fighting over a barren desert anyway!
Well if the Palestinians didn't elect and continue to support a government that constantly fires rockets at their neighbor and commits to jihad while closely integrating their military sector with the civilian structure, there wouldn't be a problem. Civilian death tolls are high, and that is not optimal, I agree. That aside, Hamas is behaving irrationally. The only sense I can make of their behavior is that they're luring Israel into committing a bloodbath on Palestinian land in the hopes that they will galvanize support from other Islamic nations.
Too much money is made in war. It's a corporate dream come true for the weaponry makers, and the black market in arms is thriving. Then you have ammunition. Same money maker as ink cartridges for printers. As long as groups continue to hold "belief" systems as a rallying call to arms or even protection of territory, the stupidity in the middle east will never end. The heat of the sun cooks their brains. Add to that , repressed sexuality and you have a fantastic mix of untapped angst and easily directed stupidity.
The Americans and Euro companies pump oil out of Arab shit hole deserts, enriches the coffers of the Jews abroad, the funds are sent to Israel to purchase weapons from Russia, america or wherever and they continue shooting at each other. BBC and CNN and FOX news make their money reporting the never ending crap and the beat goes on...

Ah. I didn't realize that Hamas were actually elected by Palestinians. Are talking about a truly free democracy here?
(In case it's not immediately obvious, I don't have a lot of access to the news at the moment. All of my sources growing up were biased towards Israel and I rebelled against that, which has left me open, naturally to sources biased towards Palestine).

Starting to agree with you more and more. Mostly because I'm too lazy to figure out who ACTUALLY started it - if anyone can conclusively be blamed, anyway.
What gets me is the hysteria that this is causing in the west. I mean, I'm not in favour of civilians or children being killed for no real reason either, but I've seen posts on Facebook calling for the deaths of Jews or Arabs by Australasians with no connection to either. This is different to your call for a nuking of the entire area because to call for a wiping out of one of the two "sides" is to favour the other (obviously).
As I said, it's a barren desert. And it doesn't look like I'm going to get to travel to Israel anytime soon, so fuck them all. As a westerner, nothing pisses me off more than the inconvenience of some cunt daring to start a civil war (which was the cause of my failure to get to Egypt last year) or declaring war on their neighbours, causing my own government to cancel all its flights to whatever country I want to visit. I have first world entitlements, goddammit!
