The BRACE Character Profile

I'm planning on taking this test again and I thought that some of you here might be interested in it as well:

"The BRACE Character Profile® is a powerful analytic tool designed to profile any known individual’s core human nature. It is an entirely unique profiling device which can be used effectively by both professionals and non-professionals. The BRACE Character Profile® organizes bits and pieces of information about how a person thinks and does not think (Cognitive Domain), how a person acts and does not act (Behavior Domain), and what a person wants and does not want (Existential-Motivational Domain). The information is then displayed in graphics and charts which can be used to inform decisions about the individual rated. Any individual rated can be compared and contrasted with “prototypical types,” such as the DSM-IV-TR™ Personality Disorders. They can also be simultaneously correlated with any other rated individuals or subtypes of individuals, such as serial criminals, terrorists, world leaders, historical figures, fictional characters, etc."

To take the BRACE Character Profile yourself:

- Go to this website - http://braceanalysis.com/clientarea.shtml
- Click on the BRACE Character Profile link
- On the Disclaimer page click Continue
- On the BRACE Free Downloads page, scroll down and click on I and I Graphics and Charts Generator (Excel). You will need to have an office program on your computer already to be able to download the spreadsheet. If you haven't got one, then I suggest Kingsoft Office http://www.kingsoftstore.com/ .Not only is it free, it's also very similar to Microsoft Office.
- Then fill this out (it takes quite awhile): http://braceanalysis.com/profile_hl.shtml
- Copy your scores for each of the statements into the Raw Data Entry section of the Excel spreadsheet you downloaded earlier.
- To help you understand the Analysis Aide section on your Excel Spreadsheet: http://www.braceanalysis.com/free_downloads/I%20and%20I%20Steps.pdf

When you're done, post only the results of the Diagnostic Considerations - Overall and/or take a screenshot, save it somewhere (in Photobucket for example) and post the link to it.

My Results from July last year:

Diagnostic Considerations Overall

HARE-40 (PCL-R, Psychopath) 0.41
Paranoid Personality Disorder 0.34
Antisocial Personality Disorder 0.27
Narcissistic Personality Disorder 0.26

Did these scores place you high on the sociopath continuum? Will check it out later.

Why are you so interested in these tests? You've posted tons of tests on here. Why do you keep taking them?

I'm interested in psychology and it's relation to human behavior, and I am especially interested in criminal profiling, thus the reason I find the BRACE Character Profile particularly interesting. I'm also very interested in studying my own mind and, because I'm not very introspective, some tests online help me do that.

I'm fully aware the results may not be entirely accurate, but they do lend me some insight nonetheless. Most of the time I just take online tests out of boredom though.

Bah, sorry, not sure how to get this done efficiently.  Let me know how else to get the pertinent information, which seems to be beyond my grasp for the moment...  I will try and get a better method to share my results.

Do you think you have a criminal mind? With acutal criminal intent?
