Child Haters

I had a lot of bad luck with teachers at the schools I went to, there were some really sadistic cunts. I haven't thought about this in years, and it's just occurred to me now that I never used to think about the motivation for their behaviour, I only used to think about the pattern of it.

I guess the motivation was different for all of them. Discrimination, perhaps borne out of fear, was a big one. For example, at one school I went to there was this PE teacher who refused to teach me, and a couple of others who came from a similar background, one the grounds that if we broke any of the equipment our parents might not pay for it.

I guess jealousy is another reason, teaching is often a plan b and kids have their whole lives ahead of them. The worst thing a teacher ever did to me is cut my hair. I was a very pretty child and she had been making comments for weeks about how I was scruffy and should straighten my hair. I should have seen it coming really, but she snuck up behind me so I didn't have a chance. Luckily my hair was quite long and she didn't get too much so it didn't take long to get back to normal.

Someone with sadistic tendencies would be inclined to go for a job where they have power over someone, such as a teacher of young children, and if you combine that with bitterness, jealousy, and sexual frustration (in the case of nuns at least) then situations like these happen. Teachers who are motivated by a love of children or teaching are probably in the minority.

It's good you're getting these thoughts out. It's important in adult development to face your delusions so you can move beyond the image you're holding onto and nurturing. The one in which you see yourself as victim.

"I found out I was failing because of my skin color. The teacher was a bigot."

Reminds me of one of my instructors in middle school who was sexist vs male students. It was weird how much better my grades became when I brought it up with faculty and my folks. I didn't just miraculously become a better writer after complaining, something about her changed.

For bad instructors, I typically was stuck having to find ways around it, even if said way around it in a few cases was just taking the course online afterwards to replace the grade. Insomnia gave many teachers the impression that I was just bored or disruptive (friends talking at me in class while I'm half-asleep didn't help), plus the hair made some assume "slacker", so there was the occasional uphill battle.

Gypsy: "The worst thing a teacher ever did to me is cut my hair."

I'd have assaulted anyone (save for a barber with consent) who'd do that to me, teacher or otherwise.

Why give up something I'm so good at? IRL it's more like: Professional Perseverist.I use it to get that little extra pat on back, that also tends to come with a  greater cash reward. :)

Why I sure did, y'all. In the ninth grade I had just the most prickly math teacher. He was always failin' me and makin' me stay after class. Then one day I figured out what he wanted. ;) I let him put his old hand up my skirt and his fingers did the talkin' if you know what I mean. It was straight A s after that all the way to graduation.

my work was 90% of the time at 92-110% correct (110% is like A++ i had everything correct yet my score was 100% correct so consistently the teacher made a joke) my average would of been 95% of my work was correct

teachers only hated i distracted the class or got distracted or was about to throw a chair or table at someone provoking me other than that my school work was fine
