I'm so going to make fun of you with the alpha thing from now on, Jay. Big mistake to bring that up to me out of fucking nowhere the other day.

Well Beta, you see it's a matter of psychology still being a growing field, specifically in the area of psychopathy, many of the pieces have yet to be put together. Even the so called experts (with their doctorates) have yet to fully agree on the topic.

But the concepts of Alpha male traits, narcissism, psychopathy, anti social personality disorder, sociopathy, ubermensch, pick up artists, con artists, high testosterone, natural born leader etc... have always been tied in together.

These are the people born with a disposition for agression and dominance, that have through nurture factors developed the ability to lead and manipulate those around them. The concept of sociopathy is a simple one. They are leaders of our race. Nothing more and certainly nothing less.

 I don't know if they are "the leaders" of the race, but they had their role to play in our evolution or else they wouldn't be here now.

 I agree, many things are not very clear about the concepts you listed. But I disagree that that means you the great Jay can define them however the fuck you want. Psychiatrists agree that psychopaths/aspds are ppl who have a list of traits, which includes lack of empathy, conscience, flat emotions. I have met a few psychopaths and they really stand out from other "alpha males" who yeah, are natural born leaders and end up dominating their group, but lack other psychopathic traits.

Sociopaths are the leaders of our race must be one of the stupidest things I've read on this site, and that's saying something. I think enlightened leaders have never been sociopaths. They had a sense of right and wrong, ideals. Sociopaths are shit at planning, end up hurting people, including their group. They are ENTIRELY sefish and SELF-SERVING, because they can't form bonds with others. That's why they suck at leading and serving "the human race". The psychopaths/narcissists as leaders are the dictators that end up hated, executed and assassinated in the end. Or the "assholes" that ex-girlfriends. boyfriends, family bitch about with hate on the internet.

 just curious, do you think hitler was a psychopath/sociopath?

I think he definitely had a Cluster B personality problem and a whole bunch of other mental issues. I think he was closest to malignant narc. Paranoia and schizophrenia were probably there too. He was no simple alpha male with high testosterone, that's for sure. He was a more ambitious Spatial Mind imo haha.
