see how the right side has a chat, and the middle part is the content that is scrollable. this is my plan. i'm drawing inspiration from this layout.

when this is done, there will be no need to refresh. new posts will sldie to the top of the list automatically.

also, the chat will have a scroll bar that auto hides.. its the same scroll bar you see on that link. this applies to the main content area as well

Just throwing this out there, an "edit history" button that lets you see the history of an edited post. Like what Facebook has.
