They can add a new cliche to the list of old standbys. 

"Yes I really love you," "The check's in the mail," "I won't cum in your mouth," and "Ofc I'm on the dude-pill."

I might give in a little more often... as long as he still wears a jimmy hat.

The burden would be on the guy to prove it that much further, since humans are not sea horses, but it's in a similar ballpark to women who try to keep a man tethered by getting purposefully pregnant (except it rooting from irresponsible lies instead of manipulation).
