by Kareful74Is there a word for this or is it sociopathic behavior?
John.
Yep, it's called 'creativity'.
Nope, it is not necessarily sociopathic behaviour.
You sound like a nice affable chap, John.
Just came across this forum today so I thought I would join and ask a burning question or two!
I have always believed a sociopath is someone who cannot feel genuine emotion, Yes?
I feel love for my wife, I would do anything in the world for her, I also feel joy when one of my sons achieves something in sports for in school. I feel compassion for animals who are sick or have died or even characters in movies when they are ill or have died, I feel it.
But
I am a con man. I have very few scruples, sure as I said my family is important. No one else. If you have money I will put on a show to get it!
I have dressed in drag to get a man who had money to buy me dinners and gifts (I was passable when I was a teen), I have worked as a Medium-I see dead people and empty heads. My wife Rachel and I have had dinner with men looking for threesomes only to ditch them afterwards and go home, I have had bosses fired at work, co workers reported for pot use that I put in their desk and fired so I could advance, I conned a dumb ass out of $1800 once because he was so desperate for love, I played on his weakness, one of my best con jobs to date!
I con for money and goods but also for FUN!! and In 30 years, I am 40 now, Yes I even conned as a child, do not all children con? I have NEVER felt a shred of guilt or remorse. I do that which benefits me at all times.
