Pride, to me, seems like more of an idea that doesn't have any actual proof, so it seems narcissistic and unnecessary. There is a difference in pride and confidence, and if I had to choose one word I would feel more complete with the latter. I have confidence in my artistic abilities through winning contests, being critiqued, learning to improve, and knowing nothing is absolute, and I am humble enough to recognize that having confidence in a skill of mine does not mean I must demean and belittle others, nor does it mean I am the best.
To Looni: How are you so prideful in a subject that carries no merit in proof other than your own distorted mind? The "ability to see this reality from a much more passionate, realistic, and progressive perspective than the typical human individual" is based on what other than your thinking? The words you use carry the strength of fact, but I don't believe they are. Perhaps you can help me to understand your POV by defining the way you use those words. What is "This"? Define "passion" "realistic", "progression", and "typical". Relate the, for lack of a better word, lunacy to conscious, physical, reality. Place your feet on the ground.
To Stalker: Do you personally have an issue with living blissfully ignorant, and if you do why? What about the decision of another human being, which has absolutely nothing to do with you, gives you the desire to cast judgment and look down on them? I may be incorrect, but your tone came off as someone who likes to segregate themselves into a special little club, you even lumped Looni into it with you. What is going on in your life to need to create this pompous attitude? Do you feel, in a way, there is something inside of you that you need to prove to yourself, and even in that challenge, inner peace isn't good enough, so you project this perceived excellence onto others? I know that was hella loaded, lol, work with me. I just want to understand your thinking as well.
