This is probably the strangest thing that's happened to me.
Last night, I went over to a friend's house for a really small get-together (I know it was a weekday, but this was his birthday). Besides us, there was about 8 or 9 people there, and I know 6 of them as casual friends, but the others still seemed perfectly cool/normal to me.
The night was going fine at first, but then around 10 or something like that (not sure if I remember the time) I think I blacked out. I wasn't drunk, either. I only had a couple of drinks and I was done. I'm thinking the only way is that someone slipped something in my drink, and I have no idea why.
That's not even the worst part. It was about 5 or 6 in the morning when I woke up and I was in a fucking dessert area somewhere laying on a bus bench. I got up, luckily I still had my cell phone. I looked around and noticed everyone was hispanic and all the signs were in Spanish. Soon I found out I was in fucking Mexico
I wasn't too far south and still had enough money to go back.
If you're wondering why I'm not in a deep, well-deserved sleep right now, you should know that inexplicably waking up in a different country makes you a bit anxious.
