I volunteered at a local physical therapy place for about 6 months, just to have the experience on a resume. After a while, the regulars grew quite fond of me. And so did the employees, I talked with them a lot more than most of the people did there. I think they appreciated that, some of them told me things that seemed quite unfortunate.
Smiffy is right.. Exercising self restraint. I think the nicest thing I've done was to not kill someone. Mostly I just didn't want to go to prison. Other than that, I occasionally let people go before me in line at the grocery store if they only have a few items. I'm such a sweetie.
