Hmm... maybe they want to love/be loved, but not by you??
I see a lot of people falling into that trap, assuming the object of their unrequited passion is generally incapable of love. What's not the case usually. Usually the case is the unrequited party shooting above their league / incapable to take 'no' for an answer.
That's how many perfectly normal people get labeled as "narcs" by jaded & rejected aspirants.
OK. By that assumption you are saying "this man" is out of my league and isn't capable of love, so he doesn't love me.
It is unrequited because he is incapable of love. Also, if he were to love, it wouldn't be me. I am not good enough.
So, what do you call a person who is incapable of love. IMHO a sociopath/psychopath or a Narcissist.
What do you call a person who never thinks anyone is good enough? A Narcissist.
