Yep. Light is a probablity distribution. This, to me, says that this universe is a running program. Because the Universe is doing math.

If this is true, could it then be assumed that we are Neurons who essentially participate in a symbiotic relationship with the "Human" host who provides food, and resources in exchange for the neuron dictating it's actions through the use of the nervous system?
My point of view. We are the human, we are the whole working system itself. Not a part of it. Every part of you it's what defines you. Let me try to explain myself.
Metaphorically speaking. We could be like a car. A car without a mirror it's still a car (like a human without a finger), it's ugly but can still work to achieve a car's goal . But a car without an engine, it's just a shell. And the engine alone is just an engine by itself. Both can still be working, but none is a car because none of them can achieve the car specific goal. The same to a human, without a brain or a hearth. They can't live, destroy, create, feel, born, die, travel, whatever humans do.
So I think the bacteria is just the bacteria but we need it, to be what we are, to be us.
But is just my point of view.

So this is why, when we consider the double slit experiment, we get the interference pattern because the photon doesnt have to shift until it hits the back wall-- at which point it can be in several different locations due to interference.
When we place detecters at the slits though, the photons must now shift twice. Once at the detector, and then once again at the back wall. So basicly... within the universe exists 2 individual events for that photon instead of 1 event.
It is an accepted fact the speed of light it's about 186,000, means it takes about 8 minutes to travel the average distance from the surface of the Sun to the Earth, so light/photons experience "time", because time and light/photons(or even light speed) is not the same.
As far as I know even speed and time is a different dimensional space, like x and y in the cartesian plane.

The observer effect. Thanks for the video.

The universe a giant Quantum Computer, uh?, quite nice theory u have in there.
At first Einstein himself was very skeptical about that when he was approached about it. He never accepted it cause It never made any sense, until years later he admitted that it's real and happening.
"Anyone who becomes seriously involved in the pursuit of science becomes convinced that there is a spirit manifest in the laws of the universe. A spirit vastly superior to that of man"
- Albert Einstein.
Max Planck, the Father of quantum physics, obviously before Einstein had this to say...
"All matter exists only by a virtue of a force, we must assume behind this force is the existence of a conscious and intelligent mind. This mind, is the matrix of all matter."
.

.
The thing quantum physicists often suggest, is that consciousness is at the base core of all existence. Everything is the illusion, and the only thing that is real is consciousness.
