From either side of it, I don't think they'd know what they are acquiring/giving up.

It'd probably take a victim of trauma to really see both sides.

Ask someone healthy about their emotions, they wouldn't want to give them up.

I'd be thrilled to give them up.

But I guess I'm not someone healthy. shrug

Threads like these are gems to me. Little time capsules that show me a piece of what my mind was like a year ago. I was still looking at the world in this rigid, block-like perspective trying to make everything fit. If it wasn't black it was white, if it wasn't strong it was weak and if it didn't succeed it failed. I'm glad I can look back at this and laugh.
