I'm curious what sorts of things could be found from the old forum data Luna claims to still have. This forum does have an effect on how people post after they've been here long enough, and that could make for humorous results.

Could a spell checker be run through users posts to see the percent of words spelled incorrectly across their posting career?

Edit: Nevermind, half a minute later it hit me how many things would be wrong with that. Just took seeing the word "fuckwhere".

I actually don't swear that much in real life. It's something about English, Space Tard and Jay which makes swearing much easier.

This is wonderful.

With relatively little searching, I found the post he made where fucking was used six times, and shit four times.

With the right luck and repititions of word choice, you could somewhat measure an estimate of mood.

 What can I say, I'm a passionate man. If Tony had been in front of me in real life I would have used far fewer words, believe me. I'm not joking.

I think some moods are pretty clear without geeky word choice statistics XD

Also I am completely against the spellcheck thingy.

Mood is more than clear at the time, but if you could map that they were pissed off for a whole week after someone pissed them off? If their mood declined as their post count grew? It could lead to some fun conclusions when compared alongside possible reasons.

 If I had the old forum I'd have enough data points to make some nice conclusions.  One thing that could be done, is taking the past history of the words they use, then compare it to the words they use after they get in an argument.  See what matches and what doesn't.

Ok, next time I'm not sure about my mood I'll ask you how many times I've been cursing around here and everything will be clear. XD

 For fuck's sake... This is a PSYCHOLOGY site. Use psychology, not statistics... Understanding of the human mind and shit, not word count.
