Skype allows us to communicate with people from all over the world.

The beauty of online chatting is that you can discuss things that actually interest you.

I find most people in real life boring to chat to because their interests don't usually match mine. Most of my interests are considered socially taboo. I think many people would find certain things that interest me a little too disturbing for their taste, which could make life for me very uncomfortable if they decided I was a threat to them or society in general. On the internet I can talk about those things more openly while relatively maintaining some anonymity.

I would prefer a planned meeting, in person. At least, then, I could make preparations for the bash.

Why do you keep making new threads? Just make one like Maria's Mad House (meant in a nice way, I needed something to follow the M) and post to your hearts content. 

Because I am a bitch who doesn't follow orders. 

And God forbid I make a lot of threads with actual questions in it as opposed to posting cocks ,boobs or dexter, music, ways to kill or am I a sociopath.

That is why. 

Plus, I like to spread my crazy around. :)

Because I've met many fun and interesting people and only two of them live within 100 miles of here.

Why do people Skype? 

 Beats me too.   You'd need to pay me a very high sum per word-count to get me on skype. 

Forums / forum-chat is a good filler / timewaster with max. visibility per effort ratio and zero personal involvement,  and i draw the line there.
