Alternate Universe

We’re not real. Listen carefully, WE are not real. Who created us? Did God create us? Did we create ourselves? No one knows. Does anyone know? Are we real? Or are we just figments of someone’s imagination? What is everything? Everything is in our minds. We are figments of our imagination and so is everyone. Everything you know is a part of your mind. That’s what makes you and everyone what they are in your imagination. Different people differ in imaginations. What is a square to you maybe a rectangular to him. No one knows for sure who is right and who is wrong.

Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Imagine another universe similar to our universe but exactly opposite. Another Universe- Alternate Universe. With green skies and blue grass. In this universe we live on planets and stare at stars in the night. But in the alternate universe they may live on stars and stare at the planets in
the night singing….

“Twinkle twinkle little planets,

How I wonder what you are,

Down below the sky so low,

Like a pebble in the sky.”

Oh who am I kidding? I know I’m horrible at this writing stuff. I can’t help it. I’m feeling less stoned and feeling more sleepy. Speaking of ‘stoned’, in the alternate universe weed is legal all over America and almost everywhere else in the world. But recently two states, Colorado and Washington banned marijuana in the alternate universe. So wait, that means every event that occurs in the alternate universe is ‘Equal and Opposite’ to the events that occur in this universe. So then, one of the two following assumptions has to be true;

First Assumption: Our universe and the alternate universe are inter-dependant i.e we affect each other. What I do will not only affect ‘me’ in this universe but also ‘me’ in the alternate universe i.e if I’m fat in this universe then that’s the result of ‘me’ being skinny in the alternate universe and vice versa. If we come to the conclusion that the above assumption is true then that would be very demotivating as it would push ‘me’ in this universe and the ‘me’ in the alternate universe to resort to a ‘blame game’. That would result in me thinking “I fail sometimes in this universe. I fail because the ‘me’ in the alternate universe succeeds because of his hard work and dedication. What a greedy son of a bitch he must be. Thanks to him I always fail.”

Second Assumption: Both the ‘Me’s of both universes would be independent but be influential on each other.

If we conclude that the second assumption is real then that would make me more aggressive and competitive. I would make the ‘me’ in the alternate universe my arch-rival. His happiness is my sadness, my death is his birth. We would compete with each other and may the fittest survive and thrive.

Everything in the alternate universe is equally opposite to what is in this universe. It’s a universe where homo-sapiens inhale carbon dioxide and exhale oxygen, drink food and eat water, sleep on ceilings and stare at the floor. In their universe the Pope may be a Muslim or even an Atheist.

The ‘me’ in the alternate universe wouldn’t possess a penis since I possess one. So if I take a pair of scissors and chop of my penis the ‘me’ in the alternate universe would all of a sudden get a penis. All of this would happen in just a matter of seconds. And if he gets a penis all of a sudden, don’t you think the people witnessing this event would think he’s a God or a similar creature that is capable of miracles. And don’t you think the other penis-less beings in the alternate universe would envy him. And say this envy evolves and becomes jealousy. In the alternate universe while ‘me’ is being worshipped by some there would be some who would hate him. And the haters would organize themselves to destroy ‘me’. They would feel so insecure by the ‘penis-miracle’ that they would plot to kill ‘me’. They would nail ‘me’ to the cross and crown me with thorns. And when the ‘me’ in alternate universe is dead I would be born in this universe. I would be born as a girl child in a northern state in India. When they find out that my mother gave birth to a girl child they would pressurize her to give me up and three days later I would die as a victim of female infanticide. And the ‘me’ in the alternate universe would be resurrected at the same moment.

But then again this whole concept of ‘Alternate Universe’ is imaginary. But then again everything is imaginary. Everything you’ve read, heard, seen, smelt, tasted, felt, all of these are just figments of your imagination. Or are they? I don’t know. Fuck me.

 I think you should write when you're more stoned.
