Maybe for you, but something I've noticed is that American girls look older than Swedish girl. I learned this at MTV's My Sweet 16, those girls often look like they are 20. Too confusing.

 I agree. That's been the trend for quite a few years now.

It's probably the excessive use of make-up.

I'd demand identification from every girl I spoke with, even if they look like 40.

 In addition to having to be thin, nicest clothes, the pressure in schools and within society to be beautiful.   Fuck that, I now like my shit kickers and jeans. 

ahemm...  i think america has its own idea of 'beautiful'.  (no offence to anyone present.)

Boys can be deceptive too though. I remember in the end of the first year of high school when the kids who were going to start there the next semester were shown around and this two meter tall full beard, long haired fat guy was walking among them. I thought he was a new teacher or something. The next semester I found out that he was a year younger than me.

That's so romantic. Fake ids aren't a thing?

If they show me fake IDs then I've done what I can and it's not my problem anymore. What am I supposed to do? Cut them in half and count the growth rings?

Swedes have a tendency to look like this during the summer(especially girls).

 That might be deceptive too.  Do fat girls have more growth rings?  (or was it the number of fat-rolls, i forgot...)

I think the corn-syrup lobby has a lot to answer for.
