I pay attention to first impressions. If I have a bad gut feeling I observe the person a little more closely to confirm/refute any suspicions.

No. My opinion is based on interpretation of the information I have and adapts when new information is processed.

It's just easier to adapt my opinion of someone once I know more about them.
