The other day I killed my first animal. I had been planning on killing some type of animal for a while, particularly a rabbit, but I never had a good chance to do so. So about two days ago I went outside for a walk at around 9:30 pm. Literally, like less than 30 seconds after leaving my house I saw a frog on the ground, and was filled with excitement as I knew that this was finally my chance to kill something. I very quickly smashed my foot on it twice, immobilizing it, and then ran back to my house real quick. I grabbed some paper towels, and a somewhat big rock from outside. I then picked up the barely moving frog, brought it to the middle of the street, put the paper towels over it, and then repeatedly bludgeoned it. It felt amazing having that kind of control, like a huge weight was lifted. I just decided to leave the flattened frog in the middle of the road, assuming that anyone who sees it will think it is just road kill. As for the rock and paper towels, I threw them in a bush. I then took a shower, and went back outside to continue my walk.
What was the first animal you ever killed? How did you do it, and how did it feel?
