ADD and its co morbidity with psychiatric illness.

Those were not my words, but Sandeep Gautam's.

I'm the same way as what you describe with you hypomanic ADD. If I'm watching a show online, I can't stop myself from pausing it and making tabs in my browser of whatever I'm interested in at the moment. What do you mean you can't follow conversations, you go on tangents?

Yep. I can follow them, but my brain is moving too fast sometimes. For example, If I am with a group of friends, I am antsy to talk. I am listening, but i am moving too far ahead in the conversation.

Does that make sense?

Also, when I am hypo and in crowds, I impatiently tap my foot. Like in a coffee line.

It is horrible sometimes. I have pills to "slow" me down, but they are anti-psychotics, which make me a zombie.

I have turned into an impulsive, spazzy child. Hee Hee

Technically, diagnostically. Yup. But they really lack the common traits you want to see in "the same" condition. ADD is not a condition of impulsiveness and recklessness. Is not a deficit in the frontal lobes. All this will be clear when diagnosing is made with brain scans instead of observing symptoms from the outside.

Technically, ADD is considered one of three subtypes of ADHD.
