I'll never dislike another fictional character as much as Lila.
dexters character is just not interesting enough, didnt watch the end thought. it was interesting when he was trying to frame that nigger and it was interesting what his relationship with his brother would be, but it was a disappointment at the end. the death of his wife was really unneeded, it created pointless things in the movie imo. his friend the mexican nigger was also weird, both dexter and the mexican's reactions about killing is just awkwardly weird, like autistic people with psychosis. dexters close friends are boring and so is his sister(and that killer girl who used poison was weird too)
the nigger was fun that much is true. also the obsessive histrionic crack whore was interesting. the trinity killer was a good character too. and that other girl whom dexter helped in killing her kidnappers was interesting
Dexter is a soap opera. Soaps have the same basic formula at their core. Fear of intimacy and the desire for it- conflicting with the other. All else going on is just fodder. To appeal to a more masculine/disordered audience... just add violence, tits, and idealization of being less human.
Perfection. :D
