In the eyes of insects, males are the disposable gender used to fertilize.

In the eyes of mammals, physical strength can rule.

I could probably write effectively to argue for either gender, but I have no motivation. Men use women and women use men. This is just life. Aligning yourself with gender seems like a waste unless there's a point to it.

Both genders get shit on in their own ways now. We no longer have the old patriarchy, but we have sexisms against men and women both. Things'll hopefully improve. Though the biggest sexist institution is the state. To them, men and women are just labor machines, and women baby labormachine makers, and men supporters of labormachine makers.

Ah... What? I'm prepared to sacrifice my supposed commitment to proving my intelligence to you by admitting that I have no idea what you mean. I do appreciate that you took the time to work on your spelling and grammar in these two lines though. That must have taken you quite some time.

Adding insult to injury, males never get those fabulous mark-downs on last season's fashions as females do. Shoes esp.

Men are suffering and this is especially the case in N. America. It's a subject that is swept under the rug and no one wants to address. I fear a future when women will hold our collective testicles in a jar under the sink.

Thank fuck for that. I spend all of my time wondering if the men I know (and I've just gone ahead and assumed that you are indeed a man because you said you are on an internet forum) love me. I mean, that's what all women do. We just want to be loved. I would've gone to sleep crying tonight if you didn't me.

Way to deflect the question, though. Did you figure out that (1) Silkthread is a female, (2) I, in all likelihood, agree with her (I do; most of the females on this site are probably males) and (3) I couldn't care less if you or anyone else would try to insist that I am in fact a man because my interrogative style emasculates you? I feel for you; I do. Being a man is all you have. It's the one thing that you could be sure of growing up, and now that you're a fully mature, forty-two-year-old man, with lots of life experience and common sense, you've started to realize that either you don't have what it takes for people to recognize your masculinity, or that this shit is really overrated. It's okay - you can claim the latter if admitting to the former on an anonymous internet forum is too painful and frightening for you.
