I look down on most everyone, so my expectations of others is very low to begin with. If you can get yourself in that frame of mind, there stupidity will no longer affect you the way it has in the past.

The trick is.... to think yourself higher than then. If you don't take them seriously, you will feel much better.

I know that's difficult if you work for them, or have to answer to them. That's why I suggest starting your own company. I'd recommend a service based company since start-up costs are low, and service based businesses thrive in a developed capitalist economy.

They're funny, like a good B-Movie.

Idiots are rarely worth much effort.

Obviously it's fun to play with them and all but sometimes I just need to switch it off

If you are what you claim above, then you should see yourself above their insults or whatever has you pissed off. Why let the meddling of the weak get to your head? 

As for tolerating the ignorant,  don't. I avoid people in general, but when asked I tell them of our indifferences. Another solution I find useful is imagining what their future will look like. It always gives me a good laugh and some mild entertainment.

Most of the humanity is ugly and stupid.

I'm being Captain Obvious here but just ignore them.

If you can't and you have to deal with a stupid person on a daily basis in that case play with them, troll them, manipulate them, have your fun with them. If they can't be useful they might as well be entertaining.

One instance for example where stupid people is useful it to get laid they kind of facilitate everything by being so gullible and stupid.

How do you put up with stupid people?

Indifference seems to be quite effective.

If they're bothering you, then that's your problem because you let them bother you.

Other people probably think you're stupid too. Maybe you should ask them how they deal with it.
