What makes a regular day into a good day for you? I'm particularly interested in the different responses among different PDs. I'm curious to see if there is any correlation between what makes us 'happy' and our PDs. To put it another way; are there similarities, among PDs regarding pleasure, beyond the obvious? The obvious being sex, drugs, criminal activity, etc. I'm looking for more banal answers, something people wouldn't expect to bring you the kind of pleasure it does. Could be anything, a walk, playing with your pet, a good meal,etc.
I consider most days regular days and all kidding aside just being able to control my temper and urges to strike out within any given 24 hour period of time takes it from regular to good. Beyond that, my dog, without question brings me the most pleasure. Just being with her can make it good day. Seeing someone I actually do care about (miracle within itself) feeling good and being in an up beat mood certainly helps my moods and day. Sometimes days are a bit better when I find a few extra bucks to just blow on whatever I want. When the weather is nice, not too warm, not too cold the days seem to be a bit more calm when I start out sitting outside at 5 am enjoying my coffee and quiet time. Not getting a headache can make a day better.
