Okay, so I understand that the less articulate of you may have limited abilities to express your emotional distress when someone insults you here. But autism is characterized by a pervasive developmental delay of linguistic abilities. That means that whenever you're being insulted by someone, they probably don't have autism, okay?

Asperger's Disorder is a little similar, but without pervasive linguistic delays. It's characterized by a lack of social reciprocity. So accusing someone of being an Aspie on a forum called "Sociopath World" renders your own position here redundant.

Is that clear? Can those responsible for shrieking that someone's autistic because you've gotten into a tiff with them please shut the fuck up now? Cool. Thanks.

 Don't worry, they don't really think you're an aspie or a narc. They're just trying to get under your skin. No one really cares what anyone's diagnoses are.

I have never seen diagnosis thrown around as much as in here - and that is saying rather ALOT considering I am required to liaise with clinicians.

Interestingly I have found that childhood schizophrenia is often mis-diagnosed as Autism. Not sure who else here works in a health related field but I'd be interested in any who have seen or heard of a similar situation. My argument with the psych team was that the fellow in question had persuasive linguistic displays and some effect on physical function, however also had an extraordinary capacity for self reflection, insight and a high emotional content. He was also readily able to identify emotional states in others with a high degree of accuracy. 

I have found it interesting that the professionals are reluctant to over-ride a previous diagnosis and continue to manage and 'treat' him as if Autism is his primary concern. They are skilled in managing to ignore the delusions, psychosis and clear indicators of schizophrenia.

Who cares?

Psychosis is kinda normal in Asperger's. Hell, psychosis is common in any anxiety-based disorder as well. Are they all schizos now? Fuck you.

I don't give a flying fuck if they use autism as synonym of retard. 

Just like sociopathy, Autism or Asperger's seems to be the number one choice for internet snowflakes. Everyone else is the neurotypical or loser not me. I reject them before they reject me. Why? Social rejection years of it. Also perhaps some new disorder where people have a need to not only self-diagnose but aspire to be mentally deranged.
