Ambition can be long term, it is usually spontaneous for me. All's it is to me is a burning want for something and the drive that gets it at the same time.  I do judge people, it is a tool to repel the types I dont want to be around. Why would I not judge, everything does, it's supposed to happen.

 Are not implying that you care by giving a shit about the people around you, though?

Care about what? Look without other people you are nothing, you have nothing to do. Nothing to say. Nothing to think about. No fun, no sex, no victories or losses or challenges. We are all the exact same animal, of course I need the people around me.

In that sense, most of us are already ambitious. Many of us are driven by our hedonistic desires. The determination and drive to achieve those desires is something that many of us have already experienced and will continue to experience as long as we have a desire for them.

My point was that you are not in a position to determine what defines success to another.

You are right. But I will show them my point of view, maybe they will pick it up. It's a pretty excellent way to live so I spread it when I can.

That's fair enough. Though, I do wonder why you bother. Does it really matter what others choose to do with their lives?
