by TurncoatUgh, I can't stand Jungle Book, I've seen it too many times.
When I was little, I was made to stay in a daycare of sorts that only had Jungle Book as their only VHS. When it was "Nap Time", they would put it on and have the kids all fall asleep to it. Of course, my insomnia would not have it, so instead of the peaceful grace of slumber I was stuck hearing all of those damned songs day after day after day after day...
It then, throughout my life, the movie's music just kept coming up, be it from singing instructors insisting on those songs (got' dang Bear Necessities, so much hate), friends wanting to run through a Disney Marathon once they were added to Netflix, people humming or referencing the songs, someone referencing a lyric unintentionally as normal conversation, that sort of thing. It's a special breed of rage button for me on particularly bad days. Otherwise it's just annoying and grating.
Oh. Oops.
