Ya we have that phrase as well. It doesn't have to be with a glass to be a twating mind you. You can twat people with bricks, ashtrays, snooker balls, microwave ovans, Harry Potter books etc etc. Pretty much anything you get your hands on can be used for a twating. Or just your bare hands alone.

Too true. Except Harry Potter is somewhat on the measly side (even in hardcover), try Gribley's Moroccan Interiors instead.
