My favorite emotion is Rage. It doesn't happen very often but when I'm raging, things are clearer, I feel more focused and more decisive.

I have only really felt anger, rage, frustration, annoyance, and the rush I get when I have toyed with someone else's emotions. I would say my favorite is the last one.

A feeling of deep understanding of someone. The feeling that you know what they feel.

This is one of the best things out there. It's like being inside someone else's skin for a few minutes. It's like wearing their face.

Excitement! As the only emotion possible to feel physically (for me anyway), I'd have to go with this one just because of its realness.

I had cause to think about this recently, and I believe I actually do get nervous, but just interpret the emotion as excitement instead so it doesn't bother me. For instance, I was in hospital recently and had to have an operation. I felt so happy about it, like I was enjoying every second just because it was so exciting. It was the happiest I'd felt in ages.

When I actually stopped to question why I was feeling this way, I couldn't come up with a clear answer - sure I love hospitals, they are great places for drama and people-watching, but I could definitely have been doing better things and would rather not have been there. I came to the conclusion that what I was feeling was maybe nerves, but my brain was interpreting it as excitement. I've never knowingly felt nervous, just excitement in situations where others would claim to be nervous. I guess the physical symptoms are the same, what with the adrenaline etc, but for some reason my brain doesn't seem to separate the two. It's definitely not a conscious thing - I somehow managed to live 25 years of my life without ever stopping to wonder why I had never experienced 'nervous', and when I thought about it then it was something of a lighbulb moment.

I think emotions make life spicy and interesting. I greatly enjoy mine, I can feel very intense emotions, and seek opportunities to get to experience stuff all the time. I never got why some people here idolize being cold and emotionless, tbh. They're missing out on so much.

My favorite emotion is the feeling of excitement from an adrenaline rush. Excitement never lasts long for me though. It can last no more than a few minutes at most, and sometimes it doesn't even last that long.

I'm kinda curious when and what was the last thing that got you to experience this excitement...

Agree. I experience the full range of emotion... like being in a club with extreme bass vibrations flowing through my body. I love the ebb and flow of my feelz :D But unlike a club mix, I can control my emotions with carefully focused memories, reason and logic. To an extent anyway, unless a particular emotion at a particular time is a response to something in my environment that needs to change.

(Watching Thrill's funny vid just reminded me of how much I hate the emotions that accompany puking. Blah.)

I only wish my mind weren't such a cyclone of inattentiveness. I sometimes lose emotions that would have been fun to hang on to for a few more minutes or hours. On the other hand, it's awesome when I'm feeling pissy and angry bc I woke up with a stiff neck or w/e and something funny shifts my inner mood kaleidoscope back to fluid hilarity again.

Yeah. I couldn't deal with being a path. I've tried it. My doc gave me some meds for my ADD once. Awful stuff. The stream of consciousness in my mind flattened down to grey and most of my emotional shifts disappeared. The horror!  I wasn't me anymore. I felt like I'd been lobotomized or smthg.

Ok... that's a bit of an exaggeration. lol. I guess it works for people who were born that way, but I couldn't live in black and white like that. For me, it really would be like losing my colour vision or going deaf.

My favourite... I guess that would be love with humour. The Awkward Family Photo Feeling. The Day My Son Pooped In My Coffee Feeling. Yeah yeah. It's such an Aaron Spelling cliche to you badasses, but it really does feel good :P
